# Try Meditation to Enhance Your Endurance

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but here’s yet another piece of evidence backing up why you should at least give meditation a try.

A recent study shows that experienced meditators outperform non-meditators when facing mental fatigue, specifically in endurance sports.

The athletes in the study maintained focus and held on longer when fatigued—thanks to improved response inhibition (basically, your brain’s ability to keep you on track).

While regular training is essential, adding just 40 minutes of meditation each week could give you an edge. You’re already training hard, why not add this simple habit to push even further?

## On my mind: I want you to do something for me

On your next ride, I want you to show me what "confident" looks like. Yeah, it might sound strange, but trust me on this.

I want to see confident movements—every pedal stroke, every shift, every corner you carve—do it all with confidence. From the tips of your fingers gripping the bars to the soles of your feet driving those pedals, show me what confident action looks like.

Now imagine I'm keeping score. A 10/10 on how confidently you ride. Keep that score as close to a perfect 10 as possible.

Why? Because if we're aiming to be stronger, faster, better cyclists, we need to experience what confidence feels like on the bike. It’s not just about power numbers or heart rate zones. **It’s about the way you carry yourself in every action.** You have to feel confident—whether it's climbing, cornering, or sprinting—so that when race day comes, you’re replicating that same confidence under pressure.

Come on, show me confident. Every action, every ride—show me what a confident cyclist looks like.

It’s not just about dominating the road or trail. It’s about owning your mindset, your body, and the way you move through space. Keep showing me what confidence looks like, and I promise, it'll show up when it matters most.
